1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, mobile phone or tablet) by the websites you visit, which store information such as page settings, interface language or logged-in status. Cookies allow the website to remember your previous actions and preferences, making browsing faster, more secure and more convenient. This policy, in a broader sense, also covers other technologies stored in the browser (localStorage, sessionStorage) that serve a similar purpose, in addition to cookies.
This Cookie Policy informs you, pursuant to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the ePrivacy rules on electronic communications privacy, about what cookies and similar technologies the AllAdviser platform (hereinafter: Platform) uses, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can manage your settings. Non-essential (non-essential) cookies are activated only on the basis of your prior, voluntary consent; essential cookies are indispensable for the operation of the Platform and do not require consent. 2. Types of cookies
2.1 Strictly necessary (essential) cookies
These cookies and stored items are indispensable for the operation of the Platform: without them, basic functions such as secure login, maintaining the session, or remembering the selected language and appearance would not work. As they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service, we do not request separate consent for them and they cannot be disabled. Important: the Platform stores login (authentication) tokens in the browser's local storage (localStorage), not in classic cookies.

2.2 Functional (convenience) cookies
These cookies and stored items enhance your convenience and user experience by remembering your choices and temporarily storing data necessary for operation (for example between steps of the payment or booking process). If disabled, some convenience features may be limited or unavailable. Stored items linked to the payment process are stored in session storage (sessionStorage) and are automatically deleted after being read.

2.3 Analytics (statistical) cookies
Analytics cookies would measure how visitors use the Platform in order to help us improve its operation. The Platform currently does NOT place any analytics cookies and does not use any web analytics tool (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible or similar). This category and the associated toggle are included solely in preparation for potential future use; if analytics cookies are introduced in the future, they will be activated only on the basis of your prior consent, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

2.4 Marketing (advertising) cookies
Marketing cookies are cookies used for targeted advertising and measurement of advertising performance. The Platform currently does NOT place any marketing or advertising cookies and does not use any advertising or remarketing tool (such as Facebook/Meta Pixel, Google Ads or similar). This category and the associated toggle are included solely in preparation for potential future use; if marketing cookies are introduced in the future, they will be activated only on the basis of your prior consent, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

3. Managing cookies and withdrawing consent
You are free at any time to decide which non-essential cookie categories you wish to enable. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, as they are indispensable for the operation of the Platform; the functional, analytics and marketing categories may each be enabled or disabled separately. You may modify your settings using the panel below, and may change your decision at any time. A cookie consent banner will also soon be available to assist with choices: non-essential cookies will only be activated after your prior, explicit consent (opt-in).

Managing cookies in your browser
You may also view, restrict, delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may cause some features of the Platform to stop working or to work only in a limited way. The procedure varies by browser – detailed guidance on managing cookies can be found in the help section of the most common browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge).
4. Third-party cookies and services
Some features of the Platform use third-party service providers, which may place their own cookies or process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. The following providers appear solely for essential purposes or for purposes related to the operation of the relevant feature (login, payment, fonts, video call); none of them serves an analytics or marketing purpose. The Platform does not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising services.
- Stripe (card payment): the payment process (Stripe.js) is loaded only on the payment page; Stripe may place its own, essentially essential cookies during payment and fraud management (3D Secure). Privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
- Google (Login and fonts): Google account login (Google Identity Services) and Google Fonts used for display are loaded from Google's servers; Google may set its own cookies during login. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple (Login): Apple account login (Sign in with Apple) is loaded from Apple's servers during the login process. Privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Video call (STUN connection): during the video call for online consultations, Google's public STUN server may also be used as a fallback to establish the connection; this is a network connection, does not place cookies and does not load a separate script.
5. "Do Not Track" signal
Some browsers allow sending a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. As there is no uniform, binding industry-level interpretation of this signal, the Platform does not respond to it separately. Nevertheless, the Platform does not place any analytics or marketing tracking cookies by default, and therefore we do not monitor your browsing activity for tracking purposes; in all cases, it is you who decides about non-essential cookies through the settings above.
6. Amendments to this policy
We may amend this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example in the event of changes in legislation, the introduction of a new feature or a new third-party service provider. The version in force at any given time is available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above. In the event of a material change — in particular the introduction of a new cookie category or a new data processing purpose — we will notify you in an appropriate manner (for example by a notice published on the Platform or by requesting renewed consent). We recommend that you review this page periodically.

If you have a question, request or complaint regarding the use of cookies or data processing, you may contact the data controller at the following addresses. If you consider that the Platform has infringed data protection legislation, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH), which is AllAdviser's lead — 'one-stop-shop' — supervisory authority; users residing or staying in other member states of the European Union may also contact their own member state's data protection authority or the competent court. Hungarian law and the EU GDPR govern data processing.
